Dr. Claire Campion Wright, M.D., FRCPC, Internal Medicine Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine

She received certification from the American Board of Obesity medicine. With this expertise she uses the best evidence to help individuals feel empowered in managing their own health conditions. She supports patients living with obesity in medication management, and understanding bariatric surgery options.

Dr. Melissa Kuhn, BA, MBBS, CCFP, Dip ABLM
Dr Kuhn was born in Vancouver and grew up in the South Surrey area. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at UBC before moving down under to pursue her medical education at the University of Queensland in Australia. Upon completion of Family Medicine residency training at the University of Saskatchewan, Dr Kuhn spent several years practicing in Prince Albert. In addition to her own family practice, she enjoyed providing minor emergency, hospital and obstetrical care to the residents of Northern Saskatchewan. In recent years she has developed a special interest in Lifestyle and Preventative Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. After more than a decade away, Dr Kuhn and her husband are very excited to be back on the coast, surrounded by family and friends, with the opportunity to raise their 2 young children (and poodle) in the place they call home. Dr. Kuhn looks forward to working with you towards achieving your healthcare goals.
Dr. Carolynn Stevenson, M.D., CCFP
Dr Stevenson obtained her undergraduate degree in biology, and later her MD from UBC (2001). She completed her residency in rural family medicine at the University of Calgary (2003). She practiced medicine in Alberta, Vancouver and various rural communities before moving to South Surrey in 2005, where she joined a local family practice and the Peace Arch Maternity Clinic. In 2019, she joined Highroads Medical, where she practices patient-centred, full-service family medicine. Dr Stevenson cares for a diverse range of patients, with a focus on children’s and women’s health.
Dr. Prabhpreet K. Sanghera, B.Sc., M.D., CCFP
Dr. Sanghera grew up in British Columbia. She graduated from UBC with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She completed her family medicine training at Queen’s University, in Kingston, Ontario. Dr. Sanghera enjoys the diversity family medicine offers and cares for patients of all ages.
Dr. John K. Phillips, M.D.
Dr. John K. Phillips grew up near Washington, DC. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He completed both his medical school and residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University. He has been in practice in Virginia since completing his residency in 2003. Dr. Phillips enjoys caring for families and developing close partnerships with his patients for better health. In addition to clinical care, he has taught medical students and served as the team physician for local school athletes. Dr. Phillips enjoys long distance running and is drawn to the natural beauty of British Columbia. He and his wife have a young son and daughter and are delighted to make White Rock home.
